Come on, there's gotta be more than just me who is a Mechwarrior fan. Anypony? You have an alliance with a house? Or clan? Or merc unit? Or do you just play the game?

I have a magazine with a review on MechWarrior 3 and I remember its demo when I was a kid, but that's that. Which game should I start from?

There's so much storyline it doesn't matter where you start from, but I would suggest Mechwarrior 4: Vengeance. It is still my favorite game ever, and you don't need a boss pc to run it. I'd also recommend having a joystick, but that's up to you.
