Serious Lag.....

Idk if its something with the website, (Which Im pretty sure it is). but it takes a lot longer to load a webpage than normal. Call me spoiled with my high speed internet, but Im used to having my webpages load instantly. I just want to know whats going on with the website whether its a lot a data to load or its just something up with the server. Is anyone having these problems?

I am having the same problem this morning. My guess is a seriously intense server update that came without a warning to us. But later in the day when Mr. Goku wakes up, I'm sure he can either tell us or fix it if the lag still persists. Currently at least 90 second load time for the page.

There was an edit here saying the lag stopped, but holy shit nevermind xD. Just got a couple lucky clicks.

If this is hosted on the same server as Revora, then yes, it's a server issue. Some other hostees like CNCNZ.com were also sluggish.

The lag is now gone at least for me, so now all we need is a report from our lovely admin on what the server was doing this morning.

The time it's sluggish is during either heavy server load since this is shared with a range of other sites, some of which are very heavily populated. If they're in heavy use, we're going to suffer as will other sites. However, the biggest source of "lag" and sluggishness or outright not loading is the nightly backup that runs at 0500 UTC. The server admins are still trying to find out why it does that but until there's a solution, when the backup runs, the server is virtually inaccessible.

In short, there's nothing I can do about it. It's a server-wide issue.
